Please be informed that the General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC) has announced that, since July 22th of this year, new measures for commercial flights have come into force by the Transportation Safety Administration of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, seeking to strengthen civil aviation security around the world for 105 countries, including Mexico.

These provisions are mentioned below:

  1. Persons traveling to the United States may not carry electronic devices larger than a cell phone in the cabin or hold baggage without being verified first
  2. Travelers must be at the airport four hours prior to boarding due to the revisions to be made.
